El Centro de Estudios sobre Ciencia, Desarrollo y Educaci\u00f3n Superior (Centro Redes) y la Asociaci\u00f3n Argentina para el Progreso de la Ciencia se complacen en anunciar la aparici\u00f3n del primer n\u00famero de la revista de rese\u00f1as cient\u00edficas Science Reviews from the end of the world. Desde el 1 de diciembre de 2019 el primer n\u00famero se encuentra disponible en el sitio web de la publicaci\u00f3n: www.scirevfew.net<\/a>. La revista se publica de manera electr\u00f3nica, gracias al apoyo de la Secretar\u00eda de Gobierno de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n Productiva de la Naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

La revista incluye art\u00edculos de revisi\u00f3n de temas de frontera en la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, escritos por investigadores argentinos y de la regi\u00f3n y sometidos a estrictos referatos. El primer n\u00famero incluye un an\u00e1lisis de la historia geol\u00f3gica de las Islas Malvinas, por V\u00edctor Ramos y colaboradores; un an\u00e1lisis del origen, la ocurrencia, las consecuencias y la remediaci\u00f3n del hidroarsenicismo en la regi\u00f3n, por Marta Litter y colaboradores; una descripci\u00f3n de la iniciativa del p\u00e1ncreas artificial, por Ricardo S\u00e1nchez Pe\u00f1a y colaboradores; y una descripci\u00f3n de la bioqu\u00edmica de la prote\u00edna scinderina, una mol\u00e9cula que tiene importante relevancia en la movilidad de los linfocitos y cuenta con mucha participaci\u00f3n en los desarrollos de las leucemias, por Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Trifar\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Los art\u00edculos se publican por invitaci\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 Editorial, que est\u00e1 constituido por Miguel A. Blesa (Editor en Jefe), Daniel Cardinali (Medicina) Fabio Doctorovich (Qu\u00edmica) Esteban G. Jobbagy (Ecolog\u00eda) Diego de Mendoza (Bioqu\u00edmica y Biolog\u00eda Molecular), Karen Hallberg (F\u00edsica), V\u00edctor Ramos (Geolog\u00eda), Carolina Vera (Ciencias de la Atm\u00f3sfera) y Roberto J. J. Williams (Tecnolog\u00eda).<\/p>\n

Los futuros n\u00fameros ser\u00e1n tem\u00e1ticos y contar\u00e1n con un Editor Invitado: N\u00famero 2, Reacciones de transferencia de electrones (F. Doctorovich); N\u00famero 3, Nanomateriales (Cristina Hoppe); N\u00famero 4, Astrof\u00edsica (K. Hallberg).<\/p>\n
